Resit Assignments – during the resit period, only the students who are resitting will see resit assignments. The service is available between 9: You will still have a hour window after the revised deadline in which to submit your work, but you will then receive a mark penalty. No marks can be carried over from one attempt to the next, even if uee missed assessments or exceptional removal of marks application has been accepted. If your last submission is after the deadline but within the hour late submission period, this submission will be the one marked and not any earlier versions.

If you confirm that you have but your extension request is not accepted you will be marked on the last coursewirk you make on Blackboard whether this is by the original deadline or within the hour window.
When you apply for an extension you will be asked to let us know whether you have already submitted an earlier version of your work via Blackboard.
After the resit field board when the module is finished and archived, any historic resit assignments will be visible to all students not just those who needed to resit. The date and time of your submission is taken from the Blackboard server and is recorded when your submission is complete, not when you click Submit.

ALL deadlines for work submitted online will be extended by an additional 24 hours. If you are in any doubt about the word count for your coursework please contact your module tutor. Wherever possible, you should request an extension as soon as you become aware that you may be unable to meet the original published deadline for an assessment so we can support you.
