So many kids need you. Are you thinking of teaching in an under-served school? Generation after generation, this country has become more equal, more inclusive, more fair, more free. After all, Lucy Stone spent years speaking out for partial suffrage -— for allowing women to vote only on things like school issues and local issues -— because she realized that full suffrage was just too controversial.
And in the face of all of that clamor, you might have an overwhelming instinct to just run the other way as graduatiln as you can. I also want to take a moment on this Memorial Day to pay tribute to all of the brave men and women who have sacrificed their lives so that we speeech sit here today, at peace, with rights and freedoms that others around the world can only dream of.
And I know, as President Krislov understands, that electing the right folks matters —- it matters a lot.
